my best mate rich fucks with that graphic design shit and he has been putting in work for a minute now. his most recent project involves putting together a magazine spread profiling artists of different domains. he had a chat to me a while back and decided he wanted to use me as his template artist. below is the draft for the magazine spread. if you want to read the interview itself, click the images to enlarge them. all in all this spread looks pretty dope if i must say so myself. good lookin' out rich. keep up the good shit and i'll see you on the other side hombre. oh yeah and check the crazy ill canvas piece rich did to compliment the spread at the end of the interview!

whats happening people?

my name is nix and i would like to formally welcome you to beats, rhymes and life. throughout my life i have always enjoyed writing, however i have always failed to consistently document the ups and downs of my life. i much like many others have a tendency to only record my thoughts when i am feeling pensive, emotional, or reflective. i am usually too busy enjoying life in between these moments to really take the time out to jot anything down. thus it is these carefree periods which usually signify the end of a chapter, and the start of a new one. this probably explains why i have lost numerous journals, scrapbooks and notepads over the past few years. on that note, i am hoping that this blog will serve as an appropriate and ongoing medium by which i can preserve and document all facets of my life from here until the time that the internet becomes obsolete. so in the words of kam moye "welcome to my life".
